News: Flightmapping increases carbon offset donations

Following a review of traffic and revenue, Flightmapping now pledges to donate 5% of all advertising revenue to Rainforest Concern.

This represents an increase from the figure of 2%, which has applied since July 2003, and takes effect for all advertising revenue and commissions on flight sales from 1st March 2005 onwards.

Flightmapping has always aimed to be a leader in environmental responsibility, and will be launching satellite websites later in the year dealing with issues such as:

  1. Surface access to and from airports.
  2. Car rental - including alternative options.
  3. Finding more places to visit "on your doorstep".
