News: Zoom announces new Canadian flights from Belfast

Low-cost airline Zoom have announced details of low-cost scheduled flights direct from Belfast to Canada. The service will start operating in June 2005 with flights to Toronto weekly on Wednesdays. Prices for these new flights to Canada will be starting from just £89 one way, including all taxes and charges. Premium seats can be also booked for an additional £49 each way, offering additional legroom, superior in-flight meals and complimentary drinks.
Announcing the flights, UK Director of Zoom Airlines Debbie Marshall said:
"Belfast is the fifth UK hub out of which we are offering low-cost flights to Canada and I am delighted to be announcing the new Belfast to Toronto service starting this summer. Our prices are the lowest scheduled fares across the Atlantic, yet we will still be offering high quality full serviced flights. The introduction of Belfast has further strengthened our presence in the transatlantic low-cost flight market."
Zoom will now operate scheduled flights to Canada from Belfast, London Gatwick, Glasgow, Manchester and Cardiff. Zoom's services operate to a total of eight Canadian cities: Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Halifax, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg.
