News: bmi group carries 772,959 passengers in January

Figures released today show the bmi group of airlines carried 772,959 passengers during January 2005, 11.5 per cent up on January last year. In the rolling 12 months ending
bmi mainline, longhaul and regional enjoyed a 7.5 per cent increase in passenger traffic during the period (525,727 passengers against January 2004’s 489,257), while bmibaby performed even better, carrying 247,232 passengers (against January 2004’s 204,244), for a monthly year-on-year change of 21 per cent.
