News: Air France KLM increases summer schedule

Air France-KLM will increase its long haul capacity by six per cent this summer and introduce new flights out of Schiphol and Charles de Gaulle airports.
The summer schedule, which will start on Sunday March 27th and end Saturday October 29th will also see a two per cent increase in flights on European routes.
To Africa and the Middle East, KLM will begin operating flights to Addis Ababa and Khartoum. It will also increase its weekly flights to and from Tel Aviv from five to seven.
The airline will be operating daily roundtrips to Manila, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur / Jakarta, and increasing the number of weekly return services to the Asian city of Almaty from four to five.
Flights from Amsterdam to Sao Paulo will see an increase from six to seven weekly roundtrips this July, with increases also seen on the Bonaire / Quito / Guayaquil route. Flight frequency to Aruba in the southern Caribbean will also be increased.
The partnership with Northwest Airlines in the USA will see an increase of flight frequency on transatlantic routes including the Amsterdam to New York service, and flights from Amsterdam to Detroit, San Francisco and Vancouver.
KLM and Air France will also be launching a joint frequent flyer program to replace their respective individual loyalty programs.
