News: Flightmapping support for Coventry Airport

Tonight's Coventry Evening Telegraph has an article about how the City Council believes the airport is fully within its rights to operate passenger flights.
It also quotes Flightmapping as saying:
"James Avery, airport supporter and managing director of flight finder website flightmapping.com, also spoke at the inquiry.
He said passenger numbers of 750,000 speaks volumes against less than 500 written complaints from protesters."

Coventry City Council's position has always been one of moderation and reason. Whilst welcoming the huge economic benefits that flights from Coventry airport have brought to the city, they have always backed a strong raft of mitigation measures.
