Flybe 737-300 at Murcia Airport, 27/3/05Flybe has launched a number of new flights from Birmingham, using Boeing 737 aircraft for the first time.

The first of these new flights departed this morning from Birmingham to Murcia, returning with around 35 passengers at 2pm.

Additional new routes on offer from Birmingham include flights to Malaga, Palma, Alicante, Almeria and Faro.

Flybe are also offering new flights to Brest and La Rochelle in France, in addition to using the 737s to offer more seats to destinations such as Perpignan.
