Budget airline Thomsonfly has revealed that the vast majority of its passengers are extremely happy with the service the airline offers them. Speaking as the airline celebrated its first birthday, marketing director Maria Heckel showed how:
-
74% of passengers rated the airline good or excellent;
-
80% of passengers related the cabin crew as good or excellent; and
-
30% of the passengers were repeat business.
The airline has so far carried over 650,000 sector passengers on flights from Coventry, and recently took its one millionth booking.
Thomsonfly started flights from Bournemouth to seven European destinations last week, and will be opening its third base at Robin Hood Airport (Doncaster Sheffield) on 28th April.

Comment:
The satisfaction figures show how the strength of the Thomson brand has been carried across into the no-frills sector. This has shown yet again that is often wrong to associate low-cost airlines with low standards of service.
