Portugal travel specialist Atlantic Holidays have announced that they are to operate flights to the popular Portuguese island of Madeira from Leeds Bradford and Cardiff Airports this summer.

Atlantic Holidays, who are the largest independent operator of flights to Madeira from the UK are to start flights on 2nd May and will continue operations throughout the summer until the end of October.

Famed for its profusion of colourful and exotic blooms, rolling hillsides and cascading terraced vineyards, sun-blushed Madeira is a sub-tropical paradise. Affectionately known as the 'Floating Garden', the island is an exciting addition to the growing range of holiday destination available from regional airports.

Joao Camacho, Managing Director of Atlantic Holidays said:

"Atlantic Holidays have been offering specialist holidays to Madeira and Portugal for 14 years, and although we have grown substantially in that time, we are still able to offer the personal touch that customers expect from a specialist tour operator."

Flights will depart from Leeds Bradford Airport on Mondays, and will operate via Cardiff.
