News: Zoom Airlines add flights to Halifax from Belfast

Zoom Airlines have announced details of its expanded summer programme of flights from Belfast to Canada this summer. Zoom initially introduced weekly flights from Belfast to Toronto, offering low-cost scheduled flights at prices starting from as low as £89 one-way, including all taxes and charges.
The airline has additionally introduced flights to Halifax for summer 2005. The Belfast to Halifax service will start operating from June 22nd, with weekly flights on a Wednesday at prices also starting from £89 one way including taxes.
Zoom is the only airline offering direct scheduled flights to Canada from Belfast International Airport. Debbie Marshall, UK Director of Zoom Airlines, said:
“The level of demand received for our Canadian flights out of Belfast has been phenomenal and I am delighted to be doubling our summer destinations. Halifax proved to be one of the most popular summer routes for Zoom flights out of England and Scotland last year and thus was an obvious destination to offer the travelling public in Northern Ireland, further strengthening the tourism links between the two cities.”
