News: Zoom Airlines hit out at Cheap Flights websites

Air passengers are being hit in the pocket by internet travel companies claiming to offer the cheapest fares available online, according to low-cost scheduled airline, Zoom Airlines. The airline claims that online travel companies specialise in scanning a multitude of travel sites registered with them, saving the consumer valuable time in the process.
The airline then goes on to claim that time is not the most valuable resource to be saving when trying to find the cheapest deals, and that paying the lowest fare possible is the ultimate objective.
John Boyle, Director of Zoom Airlines said:
“ I am outraged by the assertions being made by online travel companies claiming to offer the cheapest flights available, especially to the main Canadian destinations we service. Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver are extremely popular summer destinations and the cheapest fares available on such websites are coming in at well over the price of Zoom flights.”
Debbie Marshall, UK Director of Zoom Airlines, said:
"We are offering low-cost high standard flights, the principle that is proving extremely popular within the UK travelling public and as such our programme of service offering has expanded fourfold since we first introduced our flights. Consumers need to waken up to the fact that they are being highly misled by free independent online travel sites.”
