News: Continental Launch Bristol to New York flights

On Friday 20th May, Continental Airlines, the world’s sixth largest airline, commenced daily non-stop Boeing 757 flights between Bristol and New York's Newark Liberty International Airport.
The new scheduled flight is the first daily transatlantic service from the South West of England and links Bristol with the number one US. business and tourism destination. T
he route also provides a new gateway to the region for North American visitors, creating additional inbound tourism opportunities.
Andrew Skipp, Managing Director of Bristol International said:
“The commencement of direct daily transatlantic services to New York from Bristol International Airport is the most significant development in the airport’s 75-year history.
