News: More trains from Hull to London

With new trains already coming into service Hull Trains has announced additional services for the summer timetable, 12 June to mid December 2005. It is very much hoped that the increased service levels will become a permanent fixture in the timetable.

From 12 June, Hull Trains will operate six daily weekday return services from Hull to London and an additional return service on Saturdays. The additional weekday service gives business and leisure passengers more choice and flexibility in planning journeys, as well as plugging gaps in the existing timetable.

As people often ask about the lack of regional flights from Humberside, any increase in the rail service to London will no doubt be a welcome addition.
