BUDGET airline Ryanair have announced new routes to four European cities – Grenoble in France, Kaunas in Lithuania, along with Poznan and Lodz in Poland.
The new routes, which are due to start on dates between September 22 and October 30, will operate daily from London Stansted.
Flights to Grenoble start from just 99p (excluding taxes) and from £3.99 (excluding taxes) for the other three routes. Ryanair have also announced increased frequency on its existing routes from Stansted to Londonderry in Northern Ireland, Spanish cities Seville and Granada, Latvian capital Riga, and Tampere in Finland.
Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary said:
"These four new routes and additional frequencies will mean an additional 650,000 passengers per annum will save over £65M each year over the high fares charged by other airlines such as Easyjet, British Airways and LOT."
