News: New flights to New York from Newcastle

American Airlines have announced new flights from Newcastle to New York's JFK Airport. Commencing May 2006, the airline will link the two cities with a non-stop service for the first time in the airport’s history.
Daily flights to New York will be operated using Boeing 757 aircraft, offering an all-economy class service with 188 seats. Seats will go on sale early in August 2005.
American Airlines is the world’s largest airline. American, American Eagle and the American Connection regional carriers serve more than 250 cities in over 40 countries with more than 3,800 daily flights. The combined network fleet numbers more than 1,000 aircraft, with numerous destinations being served by onward connecting flights from JFK airport.
