News: New BA flights to Europe from Gatwick

British Airways is to introduce four new routes to Europe from London Gatwick next summer, including the airline’s first ever flights to Albania and Iceland.
The new routes are:
Tirana, Albania’s capital, commencing March 27, with prices from £205 return. The service will operate three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, commencing March 26, with prices from £149 return. The service will operate five times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Varna, on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast, commencing March 29, with prices from £149 return. The service will operate two times a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Izmir, Turkey’s third largest city, commencing March 26, with prices from £149 return. The service will operate three times a week on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays.
Alan Burnett, British Airways’ head of UK & Ireland sales and marketing, said:
“We believe these new routes will attract holiday-makers who are looking for new, exciting destinations to visit, as well as business customers, friends and relatives travelling to and from the UK.”
