News: New flights from Newcastle to Cork

Jet 2 have announced a second route from Newcastle airport. The North's no frills regional specialist have announced a programme of four weekly flights to the Irish city of Cork, starting on 24th October.

The flights will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, creating plenty of opportunities for weekend breaks in either city.

    Jet 2 appear to have discovered another gap in the market, although as they don't have a base in either of these cities, they will have to use a more complex "W" rotation to make these flights work.
