Due to extraordinary runway works, Milan Bergamo airport will be closed from 0800hrs on the 6th October until 2200hrs on the 9th October 2005 (local time). Passengers already booked on Ryanair flights to or from Milan Bergamo during this period will be reaccommodated free of charge onto flights to or from Verona Brescia Airport.
Brescia is 107 km south east of Milan Bergamo Airport. The airline has said that a shuttle bus service between Milan Bergamo and Verona Brescia Airports will operate during this period. Details of the coach timetable and cost of this service will be posted on the airline's website shortly, although it is clear that passengers will have to pay for this diversion, not the airline.
All passengers affected by the temporary closure of Milan Bergamo Airport will be formally notified of the flight cancellation and reaccommodation onto flights to and from Verona Brescia Airport via the email address or postal address provided when the flight was originally booked.
