News: Easyjet add more flights to Faro

Easyjet have added Faro to their list of destinations from Newcastle, with additional announcements expected later in the month.

The airline now offers cheap flights to Faro from their three London bases (Gatwick, Luton and Stansted), as well as from their regional hubs in Bristol, Nottingham East Midlands and Belfast. This Liverpool as the only UK Easyjet base not to offer cheap flights to Faro, apart from Edinburgh and Glasgow where the airline's expansion has so far been largely restricted, essentially believed to be due to the higher handling fees imposed by airport operator BAA.

This brings to thirteen the number of Easyjet international flight routes from Newcastle. As well as regular Med sunspots, the airline also offers flights to Paris, Geneva, Berlin, Prague and Budapest. Within the UK, the airline also offers cheap flights to Belfast, Bristol and London Stansted.
