News: Coventry Airport states destinations wishlist

Following last week's approval by Warwick District Council of Coventry Airport's plans for a permanent passenger terminal, managing director Bill Savage has said that he would like to see a range of new destinations opened up, as soon as the new terminal is built.

Destinations within the UK & Ireland include:

  1. Belfast
  2. Dublin
  3. Edinburgh
  4. Glasgow

European destinations include:

  1. Geneva
  2. Munich
  3. Tenerife

It is unclear at this stage whether or not the airport has been in negotiations with any particular airlines, although it is widely expected that other companies will launch flights from Coventry as soon as the new terminal is open.
