Edinburgh Airport is to have new daily flights to one of Britain’s fastest growing business destinations next year, thanks to the latest expansion from Scotland’s low fares airline Flyglobespan.

The Edinburgh-based airline is to launch daily flights to Bournemouth from next March, with fares starting from £19.99 including taxes.

Bournemouth will be the second UK airport covered daily by flyglobespan flights from Edinburgh. The success of their Stansted service has promoted the decision to service another highly popular business destination in England’s bustling south east.

“This is a really important domestic link to the south of England for Edinburgh,” said flyglobespan chairman Tom Dalrymple.
