News: New flights from Manchester to St Lucia

Virgin Atlantic have announced new weekly flights from Manchester to St Lucia, although the route is not due to start until November 2006. As with Virgin's recently started Manchester to Barbados flights, Virgin have pitched themselves directly against rival carrier BMI British Midland, who also offer flights from Manchester to Antigua. BWIA also operate flights from Manchester to Barbados, with local connections avaible from there to several other Caribbean islands.
