Polish low cost airline Centralwings is to launch two new services from Edinburgh Airport as part of a major expansion from the Scottish capital.
From March next year the airline will operate flights to the Polish cities of Gdansk and Katowice . The two new services will complement Centralwings existing Edinburgh to Warsaw flights, which as of March next year will operate five times weekly.
Richard Jeffrey, managing director of BAA Edinburgh Airport said:
"This is another great boost for both the Scottish and Polish economies. Good air links are vital for supporting Scotland 's economy and its tourism industry and I am certain that the service will result in increased numbers of visitors - both business and leisure - coming to Scotland."
Both the Edinburgh to Gdansk and the Edinburgh to Katowice flights will be three times weekly, year round services.
