Virgin Atlantic Change Fuel and Insurance Surcharges
Flat fee of £32.50 per sector on most flights from the UK
Virgin Atlantic are changing their fuel and insurance surcharge to a flat rate of £32.50 per sector (one flight in one direction for one person), with effect from 9th January. The charge will apply to all bookings made from today onwards, and will be levied on all tickets, including those for children and infants.
The following exceptions will apply:
- Flights from London to Hong Kong and Sydney - $49
- Flights coded VS 2000 - 3117 or VS 3130 - 3999 (no surcharge)
- Flights coded VS 4000 to VS 8999 (surcharge between $13 and £10.50)
