New airline Flywho say sales for flights on their two routes to Florida have exceeded their expectations. Jovial Flywho chief executive Aden Murcutt claimed that the phones have been ringing off the hook since tickets for the airline’s flights from Birmingham to Orlando Sanford and St Petersburg/Clearwater went on sale earlier this year. Murcutt said:
“We are truly honoured that so many have trusted us so quickly with their plans for their travel. In truth we are not too surprised really because we believe the product is right, the prices are competitive and people are sharp enough to know a good offer when they see one.”
Flywho’s first flight to Orlando leaves on July 8, with St Petersburg following on July 27.
