Jet 2 are expanding their operations to include the German fashion capital of Dusseldorf. As they have already done with Rome, Jet 2 are using the main Dusseldorf International airport (DUS) for these new cheap flights. |
Yorkshire is finally getting regular cheap flights to Germany – just in time for this summer’s World Cup. Budget airline Jet2.com’s new route between Leeds-Bradford and Düsseldorf takes off on May 8, with prices starting from just £10 each way including taxes and charges. Jet2.com boss Philip Meeson said there has been huge demand from business and leisure travellers for a scheduled service to Germany, adding:
“Until now Germany was the last major EU country that wasn’t accessible direct from Leeds Bradford, so it is fantastic news.”
