Qatar Airways are expanding their flights from Heathrow in order to carry more transfer passengers to other destinations in Asia. |
Qatar Airways has introduced a third daily flight between Doha and London Heathrow as part of its expansion into the UK market.
The launch of a third daily flight on the Heathrow route sees the introduction of a morning service from Doha, with the return flight leaving London mid-afternoon on the same day and arriving back shortly before midnight. The British capital is now served 21 times a week from its Qatari counterpart.
Qatar Airways chief executive Akbar Al Baker said more flights mean greater choice for passengers, adding: “Qatar Airways has been looking forward to adding capacity across the UK, but in particular London Heathrow, which is our flagship route.”
