News: Glasgow to Berlin flights launched

The daily flight is a result of investment from the Scottish Executive, in the form of the route development fund. This is a scheme introduced to support new direct air links, which aim to bring economic benefit to Scotland. Easyjet will also benefit from funding, in the form of marketing support, from Visit Scotland and Glasgow City Marketing Bureau.

Later this month Easyjet launches more new direct routes from Scotland with the introduction of weekly flights from Glasgow to Palma and Edinburgh to Alicante on May 20, and on July 7 launches daily flights from Glasgow to Alicante and Malaga.
