Flybe have announced their 2006 winter schedule, which sees the no-frills airline starting 13 new routes to European and domestic destinations.
Flybe’s winter timetable sees a move into the German market with the first routes starting at the end of October to the German cities of Düsseldorf and Hannover from Southampton and Birmingham (Hannover only). The new schedule also sees the introduction of Flybe’s first ever flights from the UK to Amsterdam. Services to the Dutch capital start in September and will be available from Exeter, Norwich and Southampton.
In addition, the airline has announced flights from Belfast City to Doncaster/Sheffield and Galway in western Ireland. Next March Flybe will launch new routes from Birmingham International to Aberdeen and Galway.
Flybe chief, Mike Rutter, said: “The move into the German and Dutch markets mark an exciting point in Flybe’s history and the start of our expansion into other territories across Europe, which follows great success in France, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal and Austria.”
