American Airlines is axing its flights from Glasgow to Chicago O’Hare at the end of the summer. The seasonal service, which was launched in 1990, will stop on September 30. It has been reported that the airline were losing money on the route due to poor sales and the soaring price of fuel. American’s flights to Chicago from London, Manchester and Dublin remain unchanged.
