Luxury airline Eos is increasing its services due to a surge in demand for luxury transatlantic flights.
Eos has had a 62 per cent rise in bookings in September compared to the previous three month average, and as a result will add a second daily service on its London to New York route. In an interview with The Times newspaper, Eos chairman, David Pottruck, said: "Some day we may have three flights a day."
" Our goal is to fly from New York to many points in Europe and from London to many points in America,” he added.
The Times reports that the August terror threats have not had a negative impact on Eos' bookings, due to the niche nature of the service they offer – Eos’ fleet of converted Boeing 757s only have 48 seats, all of which allow passengers to lie flat.
