Flyglobespan are to launch flights to Canada next summer from ten UK airports.
The fast growing Scottish budget airline will offer daily flights to Toronto’s Hamilton airport from Glasgow, London Stansted and Manchester, as well as weekly services to Canada’s largest city from Edinburgh, Birmingham, Newcastle, Doncaster, Exeter, Belfast and Liverpool.
Flyglobespan will also introduce new services to Calgary and Vancourver in western Canada from Glasgow, London Gatwick and Manchester. The new Canadian flights start from next May and are available with prices starting from £198 return.
Flyglobespan chairman Tom Dalrymple said: “There are very strong links between the UK and Canada and we look forward to a lot of activity on what I am sure will prove to be very popular routes.”
He added: “I am sure that our customers will appreciate the benefits of flying into Toronto’s Hamilton International airport. It is in a superb location for Toronto, Niagara Falls and Ontario’s main tourist attractions and has a great reputation for processing passengers quickly and efficiently saving time overall on both arrival and departure.”
