Ryanair will launch ten new routes from its Nottingham East Midlands base next spring.

The no-frills giant offered cheap flights from Nottingham to five destinations at the start of 2006, but are set to become the airport’s largest airline, with 27 routes, by the end of February. The latest routes include the Scottish city Inverness, Granada, Santiago de Compostela and Valencia in Spain, Alghero, Milan and Pisa in Italy, Knock in Ireland, Bratislava in Slovakia, and Krakow in Poland.

Ryanair's UK sales manager, Caroline Baldwin said: “This expansion will be achieved through our investment in three new aircraft, bringing the total number of Ryanair aircraft based in Nottingham to five.”
