News: Ryanair introduce online check-in

Flights > News > # 1040 (27/10/2006)

Ryanair passengers will be able to check-in online from November 1, although it will cost £2 per flight for the privilege and is only available to those carrying hand luggage.

Customers with hold baggage will still be able to get priority boarding if they pay £2 when they check in.

However, families with children will no longer automatically be boarded ahead of other passengers.

Ryanair deputy chief executive, Michael Cawley, said: “This will make the airport experience much more pleasurable for all of our passengers, allowing them to go to the front of queues at departure gates and choose their preferred seats on board.”
