News: Irish regional airline announces seven new UK summer routes

Aer Arann is adding seven new UK routes to its network for the summer 2007 season.
The Irish regional specialist is launching flights from Birmingham to Waterford, Manchester to Sligo, Bristol and Newcastle to Galway, as well as Bristol and Cardiff to Nantes. All services will be operated by an ATR72 66-seater aircraft from varying dates in May and June. The flights will run until September.
Aer Arann’s head of sales, Colin Lewis, said: “This announcement represents further significant expansion for Aer Arann in the UK market and will provide easy access to these major UK cities and greater choice for business and leisure passengers in the regions. We look forward to working with the regional airports to develop these services.”
