Flyglobespan has decided to extend its flights from Liverpool to New York into its winter schedule.
The budget airline originally intended to run the route during summer only, but high ticket sales have led to an extension of the service. Daily flights from Liverpool to New York JFK take off on May 25.
Flyglobespan chairman, Tom Dalrymple, is delighted at this early extension to the New York programme from Liverpool. He said: “We have been very pleased at the initial reaction to our decision to fly daily from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to New York. Since the first news of our flights, there has been considerable interest and very encouraging responses from both sides of the Atlantic.”
