News: New flights to Antalya from Stansted

Turkish budget airline SunExpress is due to launch a new twice-weekly service between London Stansted and Antalya on February 8.


The joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa will fly from Stansted on Mondays and Thursdays, leaving at 10.30am and landing at 4.30pm local time. The return flight will leave Antalya at 7.05am local time.


SunExpress will compete against Kibris Turkish Airlines, which currently operates a tri-weekly service from Stansted to Antalya on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons, as well as Thursday evenings.


Antalya is the biggest city on Turkey’s central Mediterranean coast, and is the main gateway to romantic Side as well as the historic sites at Olimpos, Perge and Aspendos.
