Continental Airlines is increasing the frequency of its flights from Scotland to New York this summer.
Services to New York Newark from Edinburgh will operate twice-daily from May 4, and the Glasgow route will rise from seven to 11 flights a week.
The airline will return to a daily service from Edinburgh and Glasgow from October 28 for the winter season.
Continental’s UK director, Bob Schumacher, said: "We are delighted to expand our Scotland operation. The additional services will make it more convenient than ever for the Scottish business and leisure traveller to access not only New York, but the whole of America from both Edinburgh and Glasgow."
