Easyjet has launched the first of two new Italian routes from its largest base, London Gatwick. The daily service to the Tuscan city of Pisa is available from £43 return.
Gatwick is now the airline’s main gateway to Italy with a choice of six airports; Milan (both Malpensa and Linate), Olbia, Pisa, Rome (Ciampino) and Venice. New flights from Gatwick to Palermo in Sicily start on July 4.
Paul Cable, UK Market Manager said: "Italy is fast becoming one of the favourite European destinations for Brits, the addition of Pisa and Palermo later this summer means Easyjet will operate to a choice of ten Italian airports from across the UK, seven of which are served from Gatwick.
