Two new domestic routes will be launched from Dundee next month.
New Polish-owned airline Flywhoosh is taking advantage of backing from the Scottish Executive’s route development fund to offer flights from Dundee to Belfast City and Birmingham from May 29.
The Birmingham route will operate twice daily during the week and once at the weekend on Sundays. The Belfast service will run daily (except Saturdays).
Whoosh commercial director, Aden Murcutt, said: “Our service is ideal for people who do not want to drive and hour each way to Edinburgh airport and then pay for parking.
“We know 50,000 from the core catchment area of Dundee flew from Edinburgh to Birmingham and back last year.”
