Irish national carrier Aer Lingus has announced the launch of six new routes later this year, as well as increased frequency on a number of existing services.
The new flights will start at the end of October from Dublin to Helsinki, Bucharest, Agadir and Funchal, in addition to the recommencement of services from Dublin to Copenhagen and Cork to Munich.
Aer Lingus chief executive, Dermot Mannion, said: "The introduction of these new routes reaffirms Aer Lingus' commitment to providing direct, low fares access for Irish customers to new destinations as well as providing real growth opportunities in inbound tourism from emerging markets."
Existing routes between Dublin and Vilnius and Cork to Manchester will be added to the airline's winter schedule and additional capacity will also be added on 14 existing European routes from Dublin and Cork.
