LOT Polish Airlines are shelving their flights between Dublin and Warsaw this autumn.
LOT will be replaced on the popular route by their low-cost subsidiary Centralwings from October 16.
Centralwings will operate daily flights between Dublin and Warsaw, but will face stiff competition from Irish national airline Aer Lingus and no-frills giant Ryanair. Other Polish routes already offered by Centralwings from Dublin include Gdansk, Wroclaw, Katowice and Szczecin.
The budget airline also flies from Shannon, Cork, London Gatwick, London Stansted and Edinburgh, and promises "the lowest excess luggage charges on the market", as well as other benefits.
