A new Eurostar station serving southeast London and Kent is set to open to coincide with the high-speed train service’s move from Waterloo to St Pancras this winter.
Eurostar services will start from Ebbsfleet International on November 19, five days after the grand opening of the international terminus at St Pancras. The brand new station is located just off the A2 between Dartford and Northfleet.
From Ebbsfleet travellers will be able to reach Paris in just over two hours and Brussels in 1hr 41mins. There will be seven trains a day from Ebbsfleet International to Paris and five a day to Brussels.
Eurostar passengers will be able to travel free on any Southeastern train service to local rail stations near Ebbsfleet International or to Ashford International by showing confirmation of their ticket and a passport. In addition, passengers will be offered free travel on the Fastrack bus service that connects local stations to Ebbsfleet, as well as Bluewater shopping centre.
