News: New Poznan flights from Doncaster and Prestwick

Wizz Air is launching flights to the Polish city of Poznan from two British airports early next year.
The fast growing no-frills airline will start weekly flights to Poznan from Glasgow Prestwick on February 1 and Doncaster Sheffield on February 2.
Flights from Prestwick to Poznan leave every Friday at 9.35pm, landing at 12.45am (Saturday) local time. Return flights from Poznan leave at 7.30pm the following Friday, arriving in Glasgow at 9.05pm.
Flights from Doncaster Sheffield will take off at 9.20pm every Saturday, arriving in Poznan at 12.30am local time. Return flights from Poznan leave at 2.10pm the following Saturday, arriving in Doncaster at 3.25pm.
Wizz Air’s chief executive, József Váradi, said: "Wizz Air continues to pursue its expansion strategy in Poland with the establishment of the Poznan base early next year following the developments in Katowice, Warsaw and Gdansk. The move is expected to create hundreds of local jobs and significant revenue uplift for the tourism industry in the region."
