News: BmiBaby winning punctuality battle against Flybe

BmiBaby has outperformed Flybe as the most punctual airline for flights from Birmingham International to Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow according to figures published by flight data specialists Flightontime.info.
The latest data covers the period January to March 2007 and audits all flights from major UK airports against performance metrics such as average delay, percentage of flights on time (to within 15 minutes) and delays of one hour plus.
BmiBaby currently operates four flights a day to Edinburgh; three flights a day to Glasgow International and Belfast International and two flights a day to Aberdeen.
The no-frills airline’s managing director, Crawford Rix, said: “Uptake for BmiBaby’s new business offering from Birmingham has continued to exceed expectations. We remain focused on offering a quality and reliable level of service for our customers. The latest punctuality results are a testament to the enormous work by all of the team at Birmingham International.”
