Cars will no longer be able to drop off and pick up passengers from outside the terminal building at Cardiff Airport.
Security was stepped up at all UK airports following Saturday's incident at Glasgow, with access to terminal buildings severely restricted for private vehicles.
Bosses at Cardiff Airport designated the short-stay car park as the drop off and pick up point for cars following the recent terror alert and this will now be a permanent measure.
Cardiff Airport’s communications director, Peter Philips, said: "Together with the police, Vale of Glamorgan Council and the Department for Transport, we have changed our transport arrangements and installed signs to avoid any confusion for visitors.”
