Guide dogs can now join their owners on flights to and from Scotland.
Glasgow International airport has become the first in Scotland to join the pet travel scheme, which allows guide dogs to travel with their owners on certain European flights.
Charter airline Thomsonfly will use the scheme on some of their most popular flights to and from Glasgow. It begins next week and owners must ensure their guide dog has a full pet passport and is chipped.
The airline offers the service on flights to Alicante, Malaga, Palma, Paphos, Lanzarote, Tenerife and Faro.
The managing director of Glasgow International, Gordon Dewar, said: "The pet travel scheme promises to transform flying for blind and visually impaired travellers."
