Thomsonfly has added 12 new routes for its 2008 summer schedule, including flights to La Palma in the Canary Islands, and Puerto Vallarta in Mexico.
Both destinations will be served from London Gatwick and Manchester airports. There will also be new Thomsonfly flights to Cape Verde next summer from Manchester.

  • Comment:

Thomsonfly's decision to launch more flights to destinations such as the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica and the Cape Verde islands, shows a clear commitment towards operating more long-haul flights, where they face much less competition from budget airlines. Thomsonfly's new routes to the Canary Islands and to Greece are also beyond the reach of most no-frills airlines, although the market for cheap flights to Tenerife is certainly growing following Ryanair's decision this week to launch flights there from Liverpool and East Midlands.
