Flights > News > # 1424 (14/08/2007)

Ryanair is launching new flights to Budapest from Glasgow Prestwick and Liverpool this winter.
The no-frills giant will operate three flights a week from Prestwick to Budapest, starting on November 1. The Liverpool to Budapest flights take off on October 31 and will run four days a week. Ryanair already offers flights to the Hungarian capital from Bristol and East Midlands.
Ryanair has also announced that it will be laying on extra flights for supporters during the Rugby World Cup, which is being held in France this autumn. There will be extra capacity on Ryanair’s flights from Dublin to Paris Beauvais ahead of Ireland’s games with France and Argentina on September 22 and September 30 respectively and from London Stansted to Beauvais ahead of England’s tie with South Africa on September 15. Please note though that Beauvais is 65 miles north of Paris and is poorly connected to the French public transport network.
