Holidaymakers from the northeast who don’t want to take a chance on a repeat of this summer’s wet weather next year can book flights to some of Europe’s top hotspots with Flyglobespan.
Flyglobespan are offering flights from Durham Tees Valley to six European destinations next summer and an increased service to Jersey.
The summer 2008 programme from Durham includes three flights a week to Malaga, Palma (Majorca), twice weekly flights to Alicante, Faro and Jersey, as well as a weekly service to Tenerife.
Durham Tees Valley airport managing director, Hugh Lang, said: “The message to passengers, is to book early to ensure seats are available on the dates and routes they want.”
