News: Bank Holiday rush expected

The Bank Holiday weekend is set to see airports across the UK handle thousands of passengers, but with tight security rules still in place a little planning ahead is being advised.
Many airports have introduced restrictions on the pick up and drop off of passengers after the failed terrorist attack on Glasgow airport. Travellers are being urged to check the parking procedures in place at their departure airport, or if at all possible to travel via public transport.
Passengers are also being reminded that only one piece of hand baggage per person is allowed through security, and liquids, gels and pastes in containers no larger than 100ml can be carried in hand baggage but they should fit into a re-sealable clear plastic bag measuring no more than 20cm by 20cm.
